My hometown is Camden, South Carolina. Most of my family still lives there so we visit several times each year. I-20 runs right by Camden so we usually leave Huntsville, drive down highway 431 to Anniston, Alabama, and just hop on I-20 for the straight drive in. I almost always take the first Camden exit which runs through Lugoff and this flag landscape is, as you can see, a part of the hillside of a bridge which is actually leading out of town.
I never really thought about Lugoff much and now that I do I don't think that it is actually a town. It has a thriving business community, but I guess that it is an unincorporated area of the county. The next time I'm over there I'll check on this!
