There is this garage on Highway 1 in Lugoff which has been unchanged since I was a little boy. This old Studebaker was in front of the garage, most of which is not visible in this photograph, but the interesting thing is that on top of the building is another old studebaker which dates from the late 40's. It's one of those old ones that looks the same whether it is coming or going. The local news is that the building has been sold and is going to be renovated with the Studebaker on top of the building being removed during renovation, but the new owner will be replacing it after the construction is done. I'm happy to see that someone truly appreciates architectural history, such as it is!
