The owner of the lot next to my house is a beekeeper and fruit tree grower although his orchard is still in its infancy. We trade our wares a couple of times a year; I give him jars of habanero pepper jelly and he gives me jars of honey. Locally produced honey is good for medicinal purposes and the honey I receive couldn't be more local! The hives are about 100 yards from my house and the bees collect pollen from my plants.
