This small community grocery store in Owens Crossroads, Alabama closed the doors for the last time on Christmas Eve, 2010. I regret that I never stopped in as there are few of these old stores left anymore, but from what I understand Curt and Betty ran this little store for something around forty years and they were ready for retirement.
