I love taking photographs of American flags in all situations. This is a small storefront in Guntersville, Alabama that is home to a Masonic Lodge and I almost missed the scene as I drove by, but I turned around and came back for this shot. I learned long ago that I should take the photograph when I see it regardless of the light. More often than not if I try to come back later I find that the scene has changed drastically or that it is gone altogether!
