Twice a year the landscape is dotted with these itinerant fireworks stands that are in place for just a few weeks and then they disappear until the next holiday which warrants the purchase of small explosive devices. The 4th of July is, of course, the big holiday for fireworks and I've always wondered what the people who run these stands do for employment during the rest of the year.
