Another view of what was once probably a thriving country store called "Perkin's Grocery". I don't know when this store enjoyed its heyday, but I've been driving by it for somewhere around 20 years and it has always been deserted in that time. I imagine that it was a local gathering place around 40 or 50 years ago and I have a picture in my mind of the parking lot full of cars with much gossip being shared. Unfortunately, parts of the store are now beginning to fall in and the building has long been unsafe.
