Chasing Light and Pixels
Fred

Fred Deaton has worked full time in the photographic field for many years with primary experience in producing exhibit displays for many of the largest companies in the world.

He has been taking photographs of the ordinary everyday surroundings which many of us take for granted and which many of us never really see! Long ago he became fascinated with American flag representations and how the flag is used in various environments resulting in a large body of flag photographs. The same has been true of cemeteries and how loved ones adorn the grave sites of their friends and relatives.

Through the years Fred has worked in many different formats from 35mm up to photographing with an 8x10 inch view camera. He has embraced the digital age and currently only owns one film camera-a plastic fisheye lomographic camera which cost around US $50.

All photographs are printed on an Epson printer utilizing archival quality pigment inks. The papers used are generally either Epson Watercolor or Epson Premium Luster.
